How it works
Questions people ask
How much does it cost to rent an RV?
It depends on the rig, the season and where you rent. The nightly rate is only part of it. Mileage, generator hours, cleaning, prep and kitchen kits can be extra, so ask each company for an all-in quote for your exact dates and miles.
Do I need a special license to drive a rental RV?
In most of the US a regular driver's license covers the motorhomes and trailers rental companies hand out, but rules vary by state and by vehicle weight, and companies set their own age minimums. Check with the company and your state before you book.
Does my car insurance cover a rented RV?
Sometimes, often not fully. Many personal auto policies exclude motorhomes, and rental companies usually require proof of coverage or sell their own. Call your insurer and ask the rental company what their protection plan covers and what the deductible is.
Are the ratings on this site from Google?
Yes. Star ratings and review counts come from each rental company's Google Business Profile. We don't edit or filter them.
